Meet Pasar Bella, Singapore's largest market located at the Grandstand (formerly known as Turf City), right in the heart of Bukit Timah. Known as the first multi-sensory grocery shopping destination in Singapore with area over 30,000 square meters, it housing more than 30 unique stalls. Open daily with the markets' opening hours from 9.30am - 7pm, and restaurants from 10am - 10pm.
The place located quite far from the city. When hubs and I went there several months ago, we go by taxi, but they have shuttle bus operating in certain hours and location (check their website for more details). Though it took us quite some time to reach there, we enjoyed walking around the market so much. Lots of stalls selling fresh flowers, vintage items, fruits, fresh meats and many more. Lovin' the rustic interior and the unique design concept.
“PasarBella was conceived by the founders’ dreams to provide a one-stop
food and lifestyle experience, all under the same roof. Inspired by the
sights, scents and vibes of other global markets, the founders sought
to offer a similar experience here in Singapore. When the opportunity
presented itself, the founders’ gears of inspiration were finally turned
into the perfect market retreat that the whole family can enjoy.” - www.pasarbella.com

We didn't have any meal there as we went there with full tummy, such a rookie mistake. After the visit, I've learned to always always go to Pasar Bella on empty stomach as they have so many food stalls to satisfy your taste buds. However, we did manage to take away a box of seafood paella and the oh so good pork crackling from Keith Crackling Roast.
It was such an unique experience to visit Pasar Bella. If you are bored with wandering around Orchard and all the shopping malls in Spore, pay a visit to Pasar Bella for a fascinating sight & tummy pleasing.
