As we said goodbye to Pho Bar, say hello to its new residents, Hide & Seek, taking Pho Bar's former spot at Fairgrounds SCBD.
It's not easy to survive in this evolving F&B world, one need to be smart in not only focusing on bringing good food. Ambiance, design concept and social media marketing are crucial factors too nowadays.

This retro
restaurant and bar has just opened for about a month. Though the whole
design is not really my personal like, but I applaud them for making an
effort in creating a good concept of design.
We didn't order much as we just had our lunch at Chronicle. Initially we wanted to go with the pork belly, but it was not available that day so we went with their Country style roasted spring chicken half and the Salted duck egg spaghetti with champignon mushroom.
The chicken was pretty good, it was very tender that our knives just easily cut trough its meat. Seasoning was alright and I liked the potatoes. You can see how perfectly grilled the chicken was from its skin.

Too bad the spaghetti was not a likeable as the chicken. It was cooked with salted duck egg which could be great if they nailed it, but to us, somehow the flavors wasn't right, I'm not sure if it because they put basil into it or the seasoning was just off.

Wanted to try one of the desserts but they only had bread and butter pudding available that day, so we skipped it. Judging from the only two menu we had, it's too early to put a good or not good marking on this one. If you happen to go here, let me know what you think.
Thank you for reading! :)
