Getting to know Food Panda: An online food ordering service

Being a foodie, one of my joyful agenda is to find a good restaurant, preferably a new one, try it and then share it with all Ivy's Life readers. However, with the traffic getting worse and worse each day, sometimes all I want to do is lay back on my couch, watching reruns of the good old "Joey Tribbiani & the gank" while accompanied by my choice of food without having the hassle of wasting at least an hour to drive back and forth to the nearest mall for some take away. Isn't just by thinking about it had somehow soothe your mind?

How about making it possible?

A Homey home cooked from Mom's Gourmet

Mom's gourmet is a home based catering business focusing on bringing a healthier yet delicious food. The owner, a team of husband and wife, believe that something yumm doesn't always need a pinch of MSG for flavor boost. I, who happen to never use MSG on any of my home cook, was intrigued as I read the story behind their family business and happily saying yes when the super friendly owner offering to send me a package of their day menu.

I always have this urge of trying new things when it comes to food. Either it was a new place to eat, a new type of cuisines or a new talked about food in town. My curiosity was tickled the moment I heard about this online bakery, Twee, selling a homemade crumble bars. It was not as common as red velvet, rainbow cake or macaroons, hence I was intrigued.

Lava Brownies by Brownies Gandum

It was a sweet ending struggle for me to finally able to taste this brownies. Why I say it was a struggle, because it took me almost 3 days to have my order confirmed. I'm not sure who replied the text, but it surely took a very long time for them to reply. I texted morning, they replied evening, I replied instantly, they replied the next day. Such a struggle to taste one of the most talked about brownies in twitter. Luckily, the struggle ended in a sweet way. The brownies was delicious!

Misu Classic Tiramisu

I gotta be honest. I was or maybe still am a twitter virgin. People raving on how they can't stop tweeting and how they got so much more information from it, while I didn't even really familiar with it. I have been signing up on twitter since 2009, yet just several months ago that I finally took time to get to know this cute blue bird.

I'm glad I did as from twitter also, I got to know this delicious Tiramisu. People who kind enough to read my babbling on my post would know that I don't really like anything sweet, but all the tweets mentioning how good this tiramisu was had intrigued my taste buds. So, few weeks ago, I made an order online and got my self 4 cups of classic tiramisu and 2 matcha tiramisu (14k per cup, 75k per 1/2 dozen). The order process was very simple, just text or direct message them on twitter. With 6 cups as minimum order, they can deliver right to our home by courier.
