Hakata Ikkousha PIK

The only ramen succeeded in making me return again, and again, and again...

When I found out Ikkousha is going to open at PIK, I was thrilled because it was so hard to find a parking spot in their Muara Karang's branch. One night, hubby and I went to check out the new shop. Occupied four ruko at the food district of PIK, Ikkousha shared the place along with Nabedouraku, Yu Yan Tang reflexology, CapiTEA, and a bread corner which I can't remember what the brand is. The first thing caught my attention when we walked in that night was how large the waiting list area is. Line of chairs were put outside the restaurant, and yet another quite large space was save inside for wait list area.

My first visit to the new Ikkousha was only several days after their opening, at that time, service was... not rude but a bit unpolite, serving time was quite long and the place was packed. I didn't quite enjoy my first visit, and instantly missing the old humble smaller branch at Muara Karang. The new one just didn't scream any humble Japanese ramen shop, but more to a modern restaurant with too many partnerships. Couple weeks after on a sunny Sunday, I went for a quick lunch with my mom. The place was not too crowded, service was improving and food was promptly served. I was happy and as I looked around, I begin to enjoy their new concept, at least in the new place, I didn't have to share my table with strangers like I had too everytime I ate at the old place. Yes, I don't really like sharing table with strangers

Anyway, enough with the babbling. Their menu comes with more selections, even some Chinese dishes like sweet sour pork, sweet sour prawn, etc. Weird huh?
I went with my favorite, Ramen babi special light (45k) and Buta chashu thick (58k). Hubby went with Wagyu steak don (98k).

I feel like I didn't have to elaborate on how good the ramen was. Even with so many ramen shops around, Ikkousha remains to be my personal favorite. I just simply adore their delicious broth.
I heart you, Ikkousha.
