328 Katong Laksa @East Coast Rd Singapore

After two days full of western & Japanese type of fusion, we ended our last day in Spore with something more original. The famous 328 Katong Laksa is one of the most talked about when you wanted to eat a nice bowl of Laksa in the hometown. Located in the east cost road, simply took a cab and say Katong Laksa at East Coast, as you will not find any MRT near there.

The laksa came in three sizes, small ($3), medium ($4) and large ($5). We ordered the small one and the portion was simply more than enough, filled with generous shrimps, fishcake, squid and bean sprouts. You can ask for additional clams for a dollar. It was delicious. The soup is quite thick so we could really feel the laksa taste. We also ordered one Nasi Lemak ($2.5) to share. I didn't like it, the rice tasted different like the one I used to have in Jakarta. Although one of my friend love it and said that she prefers this one rather than the usual.

I had a wonderful breakfast. Really like the laksa and will definitely back on my next trip. Luv!
