Wild Honey @Scotts Square

Wild Honey is all about various kinds of all day breakfast. They have two branches at Mandarin Gallery and Scott's Square. I have been wanting to go here since my two last visits to Spore, but the wait list at Mandarin threw me off both times. Luckily, my friend mentioned to try go to the one at Scott's Square as she heard it has lesser wait list compare to the other branch and she's right. After waiting for around 20 mins we were seated with reminder that we need to leave the table in approximately 1,5 hours. The risk of dining in an always wait list cafe.

I love this branch better than the one at Mandarin, the interior is the same though, elegant modern with dim light but the one at Scott's had a balcony spot with beautiful view looking through Orchard road. Lucky for us we got the balcony spot and the weather was in favor of, quite windy. Also, they were able to took reservation via phone while the one at Mandarin didn't.

Wild Honey serves not only the classic American nor English breakfast, but also European, Tunisian, Californian, New York, Mexico to beyond. Besides that, they also have kinds of sandwiches, salads and selections of bread and pastries. We ended choosing English breakfast ($24), European breakfast ($19), Portobello Road ($22) and four glasses of Wild honey iced tea ($9).

English breakfast - scrambled eggs, bacon, pork sausage, sauteed mushrooms, baked beans, breakfast potatoes, grilled ripened tomato and signature brioche.

European breakfast - Eggs Benedict with poached eggs, sauteed mushrooms, imported Italian prosciutto, homemade hollandaise sauce on signature brioche.
Portobello Road - Poached eggs with wilted spinach, whole baked portobello mushrooms, melted onion, peppers, homemade Hollandaise sauce on signature brioche.

Overall, we all think it was a good fulfilling breakfast. I especially love the brioche, it was very soft and fluffy and how they make the poached eggs simply amazed me, the color and how it runs melted in the top of brioche. However we think it was quite over priced. We paid total of $140 so it was $35 (around 250k) per person for a breakfast who normally cost around 70k at Social House. :)

It was good to know the place and the varieties of all day breakfast they served, but to spent those amount, personally I prefer Dean&Deluca better.
