Where to stay in Hong Kong & Macau

Here are list of places I ever stayed in Hong Kong and Macau. I will also list down some places which I heard also good via friends' recommendation. I will mark which one is personal experience and which one is not.

Address: 281 Gloucester Road, Causeway Bay
Comment: Very nice! My personal favorite hotel. Location is superb, near all shopping and food places, MTR station is only 3 minutes walk, across with WTC shopping mall, just steps away from SOGO. Room is not big but very comfy, clean and smells nice. I truly enjoy my stay here. Very recommended.
Oh yes, do go to the cafe espresso in the lobby, they have the famous Macau Lord Stow's egg tart.

Novotel Century Hongkong (4*)

Address: 238 Jaffe Road, Wan Chai
Comment: Very good. Walking distance to Causeway Bay or 1 station by MTR. Near restaurants and 10 mins walk to MTR. Room is not big but minimalist modern and clean.
**personal experience**

Address: 61-65 Chatham Road South, Tsim Sha Tsui.
Comment: A good choice and affordable hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui area. Around 10 minutes walking distance to MTR, many food and shops besides the hotel. Room is quite spacious, just got renovated. Recommended.

Address: 50 Nathan Road, Tsim Sha Tsui
Comment: I never stay or passing by so I don't really know about the hotel but it is quite famous for Indonesian tourist.
**friends recommendation**

Address: 310 Gloucester Road, causeway Bay
Comment: Very nice. This hotel is the most popular for tourist in Causeway Bay. Location is very good, near many food and fashion, also near MTR. Located just behind Sogo.
**friends recommendation**

Starline Hong Kong Serviced Apartment
Address: Kingston street & Paterson street at Causeway Bay.
Comment: This is the only apartment I ever stayed in. Rooms are very very small, and so is the bathroom. However it is very clean and the owner is helpful. The location is very convenient to MTR and all shops at Causeway Bay. Recommended if you want to stay at apartment and don't mind with the size. HOTEL IN MACAU

Address: Estrada da Baia de N. Senhora da Esperanca, Taipa / Cotai.
Comment: Super nice! All the rooms in Venetian are suite types so it is very spacious with additional living room, 2 TV plasma in the room. Very elegant and huge. The service is flawless. Each bed is very big that can fit 2 persons. When hungry, just go down to the mall for unlimited choices of food. Super recommended! It is very much worth the money paid. *personal experience*

Address: Sul da Marina Taipa-sul, junto à Rotunda do Dique Oeste, Taipa / Cotai.
Comment: Very nice. Price is consider affordable for 5 stars hotel. Located across Venetian. Doesn't have casino inside the hotel. No restaurants near the area, must take cab to Venetian mall to eat. Recommended for people who wants a 5 stars hotel and don't mind by not having a casino inside the hotel
**personal experience**

Address: Estrada Da Vitoria 2-4, Macau City
Comment: Very nice for such affordable price in Macau. The hotel is 5 stars and very good and clean. The reason why it is cheaper than the other 5 stars is because of the location located in an alley and it doesn't have any casino inside the hotel. No restaurants around the hotel but only 10 minutes taxi to Senado Square where you can find many food. Recommended for people who wants a 5 stars hotel and don't mind by not having a casino inside the hotel.**personal experience**

Sofitel Macau (5*)
Address: Rua do Visconde Paco de Arcos, Macau
Comment: The room is very nice. We stayed at the Club Sofitel rooms with personalized buttler and complimentary high tea session. The view is amazing. Bathroom amenities is from Hermes. The breakfast buffet at Mistral is excellent. The only downside is the location is a bit remote. Although we could walk to Ruins of St. Pauls, the neighborhood is pretty quiet especially at night. The casino also very dirty and old.

Some images are taken from either google or hotel's website, but don't worry it look exactly the same as the real. I can guarantee that for those marked with personal experience. If none of the above suited you, please google. Hong Kong is filled with hotels and serviced apartments. I just write mostly about the ones I know so I can comment more. Happy holiday everyone! ;)
